The mission of the Hickman Mills Educational Foundation is to ensure quality education by enlisting businesses and the public to help provide educational opportunities for students and staff.

The Hickman Mills Educational Foundation was created during the 2000-2001 school year to raise, manage and distribute funds for educational programs that benefit students and staff of the Hickman Mills C-1 School District. The Foundation connects schools, businesses and community by inviting everyone to be stockholders in the educational process.

The Foundation distributed approximately $36,000 for the 2008 - 2009 school year in incentive grants for teachers and staff of the Hickman Mills C-1 School District and scholarships for seniors from Ruskin and Hickman Mills High Schools ($18,000 in grants, $18,000 in scholarships). The grants and scholarships have the possibilities of benefiting almost all students and well over 200 teachers and staff of the district.

All scholarship and grant applictions, forms and required information are due to the Hickman Mills Educational Foundation at the Administration Center by noon on March 13th.

The Educational Foundation offers a creative and flexible opportunity to provide resources and support to the students and teachers of the Hickman Mills School District.
