The Hickman Mills C-1 School District is fully accredited by the state of Missouri. The district employs approximately 650 full-time teachers. All have college degrees and are certified to teach by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Please note: Effective August 28, 2003, the previous three-level system of certification has been replaced with a two-level system, Initial Professional Certificate and the Career Continuous Professional Certificate.
